We spent last Saturday up in Jackson Hole Wyoming. One of Jon's mission companions had his wedding reception there and so we decided to make a trip out of it. We wandered around the shops in Jackson and then drove up to Grand Teton National Park.
Not very good pictures of crawling, but you get the idea. ANYWAYS, he is finally crawling. Yay! Haha. He is really fast too! It used to be that we didn't really have to worry about him getting into things, but that is not the case anymore. And of course as soon as he started crawling we started finding him doing things like this: So now he's also pulling himself up on to the furniture! Yikes! We haven't really had to do any baby proofing until recently. The other night when I was giving him a bath he would grab a hold the side of the tub, stand up, sit down, stand up sit down, stand up, etc..and he was quite proud of himself. Haha. It is lots of fun, but a little scary--I feel like I am just waiting for him to fall and get hurt because he is fearless right now. Just a quick update.
Cache is becoming quite mobile...not crawling yet, but I'm betting it's any day. He pulls himself onto his hands and knees, rocks, walks his hands out in front of himself, pulls his legs forward and then gets stuck and doesn't know what to do after that. Haha. Normally a face-plant comes after that. Regardless he knows how to get where he wants to be. Jon has a CD holder thing and Cache has figured out how to turn it on, open the cover and pull out the CDs one by one. Jon loves it. Haha. ;-) We have really been enjoying the nice weather we have had lately. We have spent a lot of time at the park in the sun and going on walks. Jon & I are trying to get back in shape...we have been doing a lot of running and biking. Jon, more than I. We broke down and got a little bike trailer (that you supposedly can Jog with too) to pull Cache in so that we can all go together and that has been a lot of fun. To keep myself motivated to keep running Jon and I are going to do a little race in May...it has helped me a lot! Not soo crazy about the grass between his toes! I have been working a lot more on my photography stuff lately too. I have been doing family pictures and stuff which has been good practice and a lot of fun. Now that I have photoshop it is interfering with my sleep. Haha. I over-edit and I know it, but I don't know when to stop! Haha. Anywho with all the spring stuff popping up I had to go out and take a few pictures.
Well last week we got to have my family in town to visit for my sisters spring break. It is always nice to have them around! Cache always enjoys being spoiled by his aunts & grandparents too. We had a family get together and hid a bunch of eggs out on their property. Cache's first Easter Egg Hunt went a little something like this:
There were lots of kids running around so he was a little distracted...He was good about holding the bag. Then he realized it wasn't so bad after all...
Here is a little picture of the Easter outfit my mom brought for him...he's a little golfer baby! Haha. I have so many more pictures I want to put up here, but I gotta go love on this cute baby!
Well once again I am very behind. Cache had his 6month check up about a month ago...haha...and here were his stats (if i can remember off the top of my head):
Height: 26 in Weight: 18.2 lbs ~50%ile
He sits up now and rolling around is his main form of travel. We will leave the room for a second and he is all the way across the room on the other side when we come back. He rolled off the couch the other day--which was terrible! Unfortunately, I'm sure it wont be the last time. He has started to teeth which isn't a lot of fun, so we are ready for that to be over. Anyways, just an update.
Here are a few pictures...haha...he kinda looks silly with that hat on, but these pictures make me laugh.
Everyone always asks how the dogs and Cache are doing together and so here are a few pictures to show they can co-exist...we still do not leave the dogs alone with Cache though. He has really started to become interested in them. If they get close enough he will grab their nose or whatever he can.
