Catch-up time: Christmas

We went to see Santa...Cache was not so excited. He was on his lap for all of 1.5 seconds...he just wanted to run around and play.
Playing in his Buzz Lightyear tent with his aunts! Cache loves anything Toy Story.
At Grammy & Papa's house he got to play in the snow for the first time.

His new toy from Grammy & Papa! He carts the little people-blocks all over the house...yesterday I found a few in the pantry. :-)

Spongebob jammies from Mom & Dad for Christmas!

So happy about Spongebob jammies!
Cute hat baby!
JJ, Jon, & Cache at Temple Square to see the lights.

Cache just woke up so I had to be short on words, but the pictures are whats important!

Utah, School Project, Dogs, Costco

So this last weekend we took a little trip down to Utah to see Jon's dad (he just got back from Iraq). While we were there, Jon's sister, Holly, had to do a class project and she enlisted our help. The project was to do something out of the ordinary in a public place. It was for her sociology class and so whatever you do is supposed to elicit some sort of response from other people--it has to be interesting. --Sidenote: I never had any school projects like this! What's up with that?-- Anyways, her idea was to go to a parking lot and yell: "look, a UFO!"
Well then Stephanie has the idea that we should make tin foil hats like in the movie Signs. And to save you from a long drawn out story, it was a good time. I have a hard time keeping a straight face so I was laughing the entire time, but it was still good.

While we were there Jon and his dad gave the dogs a bath which was long overdue. They're already filthy again, but oh well, what are you going to do? They're dogs.

P.S. Yesterday at work they had some reps from COSTCO come and get us signed up for memberships...I AM SO EXCITED FOR COSTCO!! Let the countdown begin!

Wow-I feel like I've been gone a long time...

Seems like so much has been happening the last week or so-like i've been going non-stop, but finally I think things are back to normal.

Anyways, it was nice to spend some time with the family while they were out this way. There's another family reunion next week back in Washington, but, unfortunately, we're not going to be able to make that one.

I also finished BREAKING DAWN (it only took 2 1/2 days)! Ah, LOVEd it that's all I will say about it in case some of you have not read it yet. It was not what i thought it would be, but it was super-spectacular! **Side note, I haven't really found anyone who has finished reading it yet-so if you have, let me know. I feel like talking about it.

Anyways, I will leave you with a picture seems how blogs always seem boring without a picture--even if it has nothing to do with this post.
Me & some of the Sistas doing the Hairs.

Which reminds me...if I were ever extremely wealthy, one of the first things I want is a personal hair dresser. Doing my hair gets so tiedious (because of it's curly nature) and annoying. Sometimes it would be nice to just sit back and let someone else deal with it.

Fam Reunion

The reason for my absence:

Wolf Creek UT for 3 days and the rest here in gold ol' Poky for the grandparents 50th wedding Anniversary (All the family had to wear White tops and Khaki bottoms--thus the reason we are all matching).

Taylor and our cute little cousin Annie.

Utah Family

Here are a few more pictures from hanging out with Jon's fam.

This is one of my favorites. (Good job catching that Jess!)

Jerimiah and Jon at A&W. Yummy!

Kennecot Mine

Well this last weekend we got to take a trip down to Utah to visit some of the fam. It was a lot of fun and we got to go to Kennecot mine, which i've wanted to do for awhile, so that was a lot of fun! Kennecot mostly mines for copper, but of course there are other things they find too. Here are a couple pictures.

Here is a picture of the mine--It was huge! So huge you can see it from space. ( I wish i had a picture of how deep it was--and it was very deep:) )

Here is one of the trucks & dirt scooper things. --I wish i had some way to give you a sense of how big these things are.

Here is one of the tires off of one of the above trucks as well as all the kids. (I do look good with a baby on my hip--if i do say so myself. haha. What is Jon looking at?)

Here is a re-try. Haha.

Oh, and look how strong i am.

My Surprise Trip to WA.

This last week I got to make a quick surprise trip to Washington.

Tuesday was my mom's birthday so we kept it a secret and surprised her for a birthday present! It was a lot of fun. The little girls( -zoe & sam-), who aren't so little anymore, didn't know either so they got to be surprised also!

Thursday Taylor had graduation. That was also fun, but long. I don't remember my graduation being that long, but, oh well. Jaimie and I had some very interesting conversations while they called all the graduates names off.

Friday I came home.

Awesome trip. Great to see the fam, wish it could have been longer & wish Jon could have come!!

Here are some pics:
