Kennecot Mine

Well this last weekend we got to take a trip down to Utah to visit some of the fam. It was a lot of fun and we got to go to Kennecot mine, which i've wanted to do for awhile, so that was a lot of fun! Kennecot mostly mines for copper, but of course there are other things they find too. Here are a couple pictures.

Here is a picture of the mine--It was huge! So huge you can see it from space. ( I wish i had a picture of how deep it was--and it was very deep:) )


Here is one of the trucks & dirt scooper things. --I wish i had some way to give you a sense of how big these things are.


Here is one of the tires off of one of the above trucks as well as all the kids. (I do look good with a baby on my hip--if i do say so myself. haha. What is Jon looking at?)
