We recently made a quick trip to WA & here are a few pictures that journal our time there. Cache has a slight obsession with Toy Story...he got a Buzz Lightyear from my parents at Christmas and they brought him Woody and Bullseye this last trip. He was sooo excited! Cache got to swim in the pool while we were there too. They had an awesome kiddie pool. The pool had a few little fountains...maybe the best part for Cache. Swimming with his aunts. He is a water baby for sure!
So they say to never mix business with your personal life...well I'm about to mix that all up!
About 2 months ago I was sitting on the couch watching TV and saw an infomercial for TurboFire which is a "Intense Cardio Conditioning" fitness program. It was created by Beachbody, the same company that did P90X. Anyways, back to the story...so I was sitting there watching the infomercial and it looked like soo much fun! Something that might actually keep my attention and something I could commit too. I was always very fit when I was in High School and I was getting fed-up with my muffin top & not being able to squeeze into some of my jeans any longer. I had been running sporadically previous to this, but with the weather being nasty & having to use a jogging stroller [my arch nemesis] I started thinking that a workout program I could do at home was a good idea. Something that I didn't have to pay a monthly fee for, something I could do on my own time when Cache was sleeping, something I didn't need a sitter for. I researched TurboFire, read reviews & it seemed like everyone loved it so I decided I wanted to try it out.
I bought it and committed to completing the program. I have been doing TurboFire for 2 months now, 6 days a week & I LOVE IT! It is not only fun and something different, but I ENJOY working out...not to mention the 7 pounds now gone. I can fit into all my jeans-no muffin top & I can't wait to keep getting more and more in shape.
After doing TurboFire for a month I also decided to add something called Shakeology to my diet. Shakeology is a meal replacement shake...now before you roll your eyes-let me explain. Shakeology is not a dieting trick or lose-weight-quick type of a thing (although it is likely you will lose weight)-it is pure nutrition in a glass. Shakeology contains 70 healthy ingredients--including multiple "super-foods" that can help your body to lose weight, feel energized, improve digestion, and lower cholesterol. There are so many other added benefits of Shakeology-many people who have used it have seen the disappearance of multiple health problems because Shakeology provides your body with the nutrition it craves! Oprah's magazine actually just did an article about Shakeology which was so interesting!
Fast forward to now--I am now a BeachBody Coach (essentially a consultant) and am committed to helping other people reach their fitness goals....which I guess is just a wrap-around way of saying that I sell Beachbody products. :-) Haha. Let's cut the bull, right? But I can honestly say that I really do love these programs and I really do want to help other people. If you are looking for something you can do to get back in shape let me know! Ask questions! Beachbody does more than just TurboFire and P90X...they have something for EVERYONE & I will help you find what is right for you!
Just a little pep-you-up video about TurboFire:
And a little somethin' somethin' on Shakeology:
And for even more information on Shakeology visit my site which includes EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know on all things Shakelogy.
Anyways, if you are even the tinsiest bit interested watch the videos--they explain it better than I could. If you have any questions on workout programs that Beachbody does-let me know, or visit here to see specifics on TurboFire and other workout programs.
I really wish I had more time to blog! But the time that I used to spend doing blogging is now spent working out--which is good. So between work, Cache, Jon, and TurboFire I am NEVER on the computer...unless it's Sunday morning and I can't sleep. ;-)
Playing in the neighbors bark. Shhh! Don't tell...he stole a piece! Can you see how he has most of his front teeth and then one random molar? I came home the other day from work and it was 60+ degrees outside! Jon and Cache were outside in their SHORTS. Haha. Cache loves playing outside! Of course the next day was not nearly as beautiful, but we'll take any glimpses of spring we can get! I can't remember what he was doing in the above picture, but its funny!
Cache and I have been taking "Mommy & Me" swimming lessons at the rec center the last few weeks. It has been a lot of fun and Cache absolutely LOVES it! He likes to kick his legs and splash around.
Whenever he finds his swimming suit he brings it to me...this morning he brought it to me and then sat in my lap and tried to put it on himself. I finally just stuck it on over his pants--which he was totally okay with. Ha ha. He is such a funny kid.
