Easter

Well last week we got to have my family in town to visit for my sisters spring break. It is always nice to have them around! Cache always enjoys being spoiled by his aunts & grandparents too.
We had a family get together and hid a bunch of eggs out on their property. Cache's first Easter Egg Hunt went a little something like this:
There were lots of kids running around so he was a little distracted...He was good about holding the bag.
Then he realized it wasn't so bad after all...

Here is a little picture of the Easter outfit my mom brought for him...he's a little golfer baby! Haha.

I have so many more pictures I want to put up here, but I gotta go love on this cute baby!

Cache-man-do

Well once again I am very behind. Cache had his 6month check up about a month ago...haha...and here were his stats (if i can remember off the top of my head):

Height: 26 in
Weight: 18.2 lbs
~50%ile

He sits up now and rolling around is his main form of travel. We will leave the room for a second and he is all the way across the room on the other side when we come back. He rolled off the couch the other day--which was terrible! Unfortunately, I'm sure it wont be the last time. He has started to teeth which isn't a lot of fun, so we are ready for that to be over. Anyways, just an update.

Here are a few pictures...haha...he kinda looks silly with that hat on, but these pictures make me laugh.

Cache & Puppies

Everyone always asks how the dogs and Cache are doing together and so here are a few pictures to show they can co-exist...we still do not leave the dogs alone with Cache though. He has really started to become interested in them. If they get close enough he will grab their nose or whatever he can.

Catch Up

Wow, we have been so busy seems like! The blog has been very neglected. Jon has started back to school online and so computer time is rare. Anyways, we had a little computer issue and so I am trying to get my pictures all organized. Hopefully this will be enough to tie over the family for another few days!

When we go to IF we like to go and visit my friend Lori and her baby Brooklyn. Brooklyn and Cache are only about 2 weeks apart so it's always fun to get the babies together:Haha. Opps. I guess we're going to have to start teaching Cache to be nice sooner than I thought.

I also got some very cute pictures of the little man himself:
I love the picture that is on the bottom row, 3 from the left. It doesn't really fit in with the other pictures, but it is sooo Cache. I just look at it and laugh.

5 Months Old

Our Baby is getting so big!
According to our scale at home he is 17+ lbs, but we will see in a month exactly what his stats are. He used to be such a good sleeper & would sleep for 10 hours w/o waking up, but lately he gets up about 2 times a night. Stinker! The doctor said he's big enough that I could wean him from eating in the night, but I'm kind of putting that off becuase i'm afraid we'll have to do the cry-it-out thing. ;-( We have been trying the rice cereal, but he is not into it at all....we keep hoping it will work someday because i think it would help him sleep at night.
He is rolling over from his stomach now & he's getting close to sitting up by himself.
He has started sucking on his thumb....

And he's still a little chubster. We love him and are having so much fun with him!

December

We are a little...er...I mean WAY behind on the blogging thing lately. Here are some pictures and updates:

The begining of December my family came to visit for a few days before dropping my brother off at the MTC. Taylor is going to Beunos Aires to serve his mission-we are very proud of him and excited for him, but we miss him lots!

Taylor & Cache

We spent the weekend before Christmas in Utah with Jons family. We hung out with the family and opened Christmas presents. Here is a cute pic of Cache and cousin JJ.

Cache also had his 4 month check up...He was 15 lbs 24.5 inches tall and he's in the 50 percentile. He's getting big! He's started to take steps and loves to have Mom and Dad walk around with him.

Then for Christmas we made the trek up to Washington to see my family. The first day we were there Jon and I met my sister and her husband in Seattle for some fun & to take Jon to see the sights. Jon, Me, Jaimie, & Nayt.
Jon and I in front of the EMP.
Jon's first time seeing the Space Needle. Jaimie and I miss Seattle! Haha.

Then it was Christmas-Cache in the stocking...he didn't fit in very far, but you get the idea. Here he is with the stuff Santa brought him. He is wearing that outfit in a lot of pictures I just realized...don't worry that's not the only outfit he wore in December.

Another thing we got to do while in Washington was we went to Leavenworth. It's a little Bavarian village up in the mountains. We did some window shopping and ate schnitzel.

Grandpa carried Cache.

One fun thing about being in Washington is we had lots of babysitters so Jon and I got to go out on a really nice date one night. We went out to Anthony's in Everett and had seafood. The restaurant is right by the water and so we went and walked down the docks and looked at the boats...

It was lots of fun and I'm already having Washington withdrawls!
