Needing a break...

So lately things have just been so busy around here...well not the last couple days--unless you count eating lots of Sour Patch Kids & watching Twilight over and over again...but up until that point we have been doing lots of house working... We are SO close to being done (with our current project). It basically only consists of painting our bedroom and then we can move EVERYTHING back to where it belongs and be somewhat back to normal, but we are SOO extremely sick of painting we are putting it off. But I will have lots of pictures to show you when we're done of our new carpet, walls, etc... until then here is a picture of me, Jon (& my shoes) from my cousins wedding last weekend.

Well we had the ultrasound today and it definitely looks like it's a boy. They gave us a little bracelet that says, "It's A Boy" and Jon has been wearing it all day. I think he's just a little excited.


I finally had to give in and get a pair of maternity pants, thanks to my mom who bought my first outfit. I tried putting it off as long as possible...but I just couldn't stand walking around with my pants all the way unzipped. I have to say...I LOVE maternity pants...they feel soooooo good!

We tried to go to the National Archives so that we could see the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, but there was a long line and we didn't have time to see it. Darn it. So here is a pic of the Natl Archives Building.

quick update

Sorry its been so long...we have been working hard to get some home projects done. Our computer is unplugged and so therefore no blogging. Luckily I can do a few things on my phone-so I just wanted to update quickly.
I'm 16 weeks now so about 4 months...feeling better for the most part usually have about a day a week where I'm hanging over the toilet but that's better than everyday. We get to find out if its a boy or girl in about 3 weeks and we are getting excited for that...I seem to be thinking boy lately but I really have no idea.
Anyways when I come back from my little break I will have lots of things to fill you in on so stay tuned!

Eating Update

Good news...eating is making its comeback and I am so excited!

I had Mexican food 3 days in a row last week and ate an entire bag of Sea Salt & Vinegar chips on Saturday.

The chips were so good that I left for work a little early this morning so I could stop and get another bag. Of course they were completely out of them, and that was the saddest thing that happened to me all day.

Side Note: I know this couch is totally disgusting looking, but my dogs love it. I try to cover it up, but they always undo my covering...so we just let them have it. We never let people sit on it or go near it, so don't worry, we won't make you sit on it if you come visit.
