Baby BOB...cat

Today the neighbor came over and asked if we wanted to see something cool. Well when do you ever say no? Of course we want to see something cool. So we go over and she tells us how they think there's a lynx or some other type of cat on their porch. Then they tell us that he seemed kinda cranky so I didn't get close enough to look, but Jon went and looked and sure enough it was some sort of cat.

They called Fish and Game and they came down to take a peek. Mr. Steve-the Fish & Game dude--went and looked at the kitty and said, "Looks like a house cat" but decided he'd better catch it just to make sure. As soon as he got close to it with those long dog catcher type thing-ma-jigs the thing started snarling so loud I could hear him from my house. Hmm...still think it's a house cat? I don't think so. So anyways then Mr. Steve catchs the kitty and sure enough--"well that is definitely a baby bobcat". Ka-hool, we had a bobcat in the neighborhood! Then after he had caught him he let us all take pictures:

Here is baby Bob:
He's a little scared:

But he's SO cute:

We feel pretty cool.

(Sorry the pictures aren't great. I had to turn the flash off so that you could actually see something, but i couldn't hold still enough.)

Be Impressed...VERY Impressed!!

This last weekend Jon and I--but mostly just Jon-- re-roofed part of the house. I wanted to help, but I have this extreme phobia of heights. Saturday Jon tore off almost all the previous shingles--and there were a lot, in fact, too many! Then Sunday--I know, we're terrible (but you must understand it had to be done by Monday)--Jon started laying the new shingles. By this time we were starting to get worried about getting done in time so I bravely climbed up onto the roof and tried to do what I could to help speed up the process. Know that Jon did like, at least, 95% and I maybe did the remaining 5%, but at least I helped okay? I have the battle wounds to prove it- on the last shingle I hammered my left pointer finger. It hurt. Still does, but at least the roof is done. Here are some pics:
The roof part that needed to be replaced:

It looks bad, and it was, but it Jon had already started ripping into before i got this picture

Jon making me nervous:
Most of the shingles off (we did leave the wood ones up because we were running out of time):

This will be fun to clean:

Oooo look at the newness! Good job Jon!:

MAKING ME SUPER NERVOUS:

PROOF that I actually did something:

P.S. -- I know I look ridiculous & I promise I'm not trying to flash you.

THE END.

Im TAGGED

Okay...so here we go... 6 unspectacular Quirks:

1. I love fruit snacks! Gushers are my ultimate favorite, but mostly any kind of fruit snack-ish thing will do the trick!

2. Me no likey straight chocolate. I know, I know, but it tastes like earwax to me. HOWEVER, i will eat it as long as it is combined with something else and it is not the overwhelming main ingredient.

3. I had a dream that i was dating Michael Phelps. Hahahahaha. I know. It WAS funny, Jon and I laughed about it A LOT!

4. I am a wonderful Kidney Stone maker. Who knew? In one year I filled both my kidneys with them and I didn't even drink Pop. FYI: It was very hard for me to give up pop (Dr. Pepper) after the doctors told me it could be contributing to my kidney stones, but now that that seemed to not help me at all, i'm drinking it again every now and then.

5. I hate shaving my legs.

6. I like to clean Trigger's ears out. (Haha... can you tell i'm running out of things to say? ) No, but really...I like playing doctor with Trigger because he just lets me do whatever to him. He even lets me take the lint roller to him to get all the extra hair off. I heart him.

Wahoo!!

So, as you know, i'm totally adicted to the Twilight books. Today I went to check the Stephanie Meyer website because sometimes she has good news on there and stuff, so anyways, I check this morning and...

The Twilight movie is coming out EARLY!! Yay! Supposedly with the Harry Potter movie release date being moved back, Twilight was able to get their release date!!!

So now the movie will be coming out November 21st rather than December 12th!!!

My Shadow

This is Thor, you've seen him before, i'm sure, but here he is again...

He is my shadow as of late. Thor has some *ahem*issues* is that how you'd say it? Anyways, sometimes we think he may be short a few brain cells or something. For example, today he was sitting next to me and all of a sudden he ran out of the room and started barking. I looked around trying to figure it out...turns out it was a POSTER that i had set on the ironing board. I picked it up and he went nuts and ran into the other room and hid. I tried to call him back but he was too freaked out to come near me. Anyways, just things like that make us think there might be something wrong in there?

Well last June Thor and I started taking obedience classes to hopefully help with some of his issues and get him better socialized with people and other dogs. It has made a HUGE difference! I am so glad we did it and it was worth EVERY dollar! He still has some dominance issues, and still isn't crazy about other dogs, but at least he can function around them now. The thing that has improved most is his behavior towards me. He used to never listen to me and now he does (usually). In fact, now he follows me EVERYWHERE! Sometimes he won't even go outside to potty unless i go out too. If i sit on the couch he will sit next to me and just look at me, if I go to the bathroom he waits outside the door. I like having a buddy, but now we're going to have to work on him being a little more independent!

Breaking Dawn-My Review

Well I have been reading a couple people's interpretations of Breaking DAwn and decided I'd better do my own review/interpretation of the book.

-Spoiler Alert-

{First off, for some of you who didn't like it *maybe* this (the below link) will help? I don't know. I just want everyone to love it. --Ask some of the girls from work. I've only been pestering them since the day it came out to read it, and read it FAST (so i can talk to them about it of course)!--

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-LJFzukBY4&feature=related

This is the link to the first part...there is like 6 parts i think, but i only require you to watch the first 4...i think, but i sugest you watch them all. }

Okey-dokey. First, I loved it. I think this was my favorite book, but I must say i LOVED them all nearly equally.

1. It's about time Bella and Edward got married!

2. I was so excited when Bella got pregnant! I totally did NOT see that one coming. That was just icing on the cake.

I was also happy because everyone wanted her to be with Jacob and their reasoning was that they could have babies...or something to that effect/affect(?) and so when Bella got pregnant they didn't have any reason to say that she should be with Jacob, or so I thought...but I guess this didn't help a lot of people.

--Did that make any sense? Okay, I didn't think so --

3. She became a vampire! I have been waiting for this to happen since the first book. I loved just reading about her first time hunting and all that stuff-it was awesome. Then, of course, I loved that she had a special power or whatever you call it. I've been wondering for a long time what it might be... so that was cool. I've heard some people say that they were bothered that once she became a vampire she lost her quirkiness-like the not being able to stay balanced and all that, but vampires are, like, perfect, remember? She can't be a vampire and be stumbling around all over the place, right?

4. I just love the happy ending. I'm so glad that everything worked out for everyone. Even though I was a hard-core Edward fan, I still wanted Jacob to be happy of course (which brings up another point, I heard some people saying that they thought Jacob would imprint on Leah, but remember that can only happen the first time they see that person and he had already seen her before and so there was no way he could imprint on her now). I'm glad nobody that was really important to me in the book (sorry Irina) died.

5. I'm done.

LOVED it.

Wow-I feel like I've been gone a long time...

Seems like so much has been happening the last week or so-like i've been going non-stop, but finally I think things are back to normal.

Anyways, it was nice to spend some time with the family while they were out this way. There's another family reunion next week back in Washington, but, unfortunately, we're not going to be able to make that one.

I also finished BREAKING DAWN (it only took 2 1/2 days)! Ah, LOVEd it that's all I will say about it in case some of you have not read it yet. It was not what i thought it would be, but it was super-spectacular! **Side note, I haven't really found anyone who has finished reading it yet-so if you have, let me know. I feel like talking about it.

Anyways, I will leave you with a picture seems how blogs always seem boring without a picture--even if it has nothing to do with this post.
Me & some of the Sistas doing the Hairs.

Which reminds me...if I were ever extremely wealthy, one of the first things I want is a personal hair dresser. Doing my hair gets so tiedious (because of it's curly nature) and annoying. Sometimes it would be nice to just sit back and let someone else deal with it.

Wolf Creek UT for 3 days and the rest here in gold ol' Poky for the grandparents 50th wedding Anniversary (All the family had to wear White tops and Khaki bottoms--thus the reason we are all matching).
